    Spring into Gusto

    We have been grinding it out over the last couple of weeks and are down to the finals.  Our competitors have been through the highs and lows and 2 are left standing. Alejandro Alaniz and his Guadalajara Jack will be taking on Brooke Young’s  Chimichizza. Alejandro’s pie features a Salsa Verde,  Marinated Chicken, Jack, Cheddar and Manchego Cheeses with Tortilla Strips and Fresh Lime. Brooke’s creation is graced with Queso Blanco, Enchilada Style Chicken, Green Chiles, Onion, Tortilla Strips, Cilantro and Sour Cream.

    But now it’s getting’ really realz because the only way you can vote now is at Gusto. That’s right, we will be running each pizza as this weekend’s special, starting at 5pm Thursday.  Cast a vote for your favorite by ordering a small. Cast two votes by ordering a large.  Voting will end Monday at 5pm and we will announce the winner at half time of the Championship Game.  The winner gets a pizza party and the glory of their divine creation gracing our menu.  Who will claim the crown in Road to the Best Gusto?

    Spring is here and it’s time for Gusto to go on the road!  The “Gusto-Mobile” concessions trailer has been resting up all winter and is ready to spring back into action.  We have several events already lined up but are looking for your input on where we should go next.  Private parties, corporate functions, music festivals, anywhere that needs a little Gusto, we want to hear from you!  If you have any events planned this summer and would like Gusto to participate, please email us at info@gustopizzaco.com or call us at 515-244-8786!

    Gusto is going golfing!  We are excited to announce the 1st annual Gusto Pizza Co. Charity Golf Classic!  This event will be held September 11th, 2012 at the Legacy Golf Club in Norwalk and all proceeds will benefit the Food Bank of Iowa.  We are currently looking for locally based corporate sponsors, hospitality partners and, of course, golfers!  More information on this great event will be released soon…
