"Believing in the Spirit of a Child" is something we should all do, and is the mission of Child Serve.
\ Gusto Pizza Co. allows a member of the non-profit community in Greater Des Moines to write about their organization. We'll post that on our blog on Monday morning, then broadcast that info on our social media sites and give away a $10 gift card per week for anyone who re-tweets the message or shares the link on their facebook wall. The drawing will take place on Friday at 11am.
ChildServe is a not-for-profit organization that partners with families to help children with special health care needs live a great life. Originally founded in 1928 as a convalescent home for children, today ChildServe provides specialized pediatric health care services to more than 2,200 children in Iowa. Through the support of private insurance, public funds, and the generosity of donors, ChildServe offers accessible, family-centered care unique to each child’s needs, hopes, and dreams.
On March 31st at 7pm, ChildServe will be holding its annual Bubble Ball. Bubble Ball is a fun and innovative event unlike anything else in our community! The goal is to heighten people's awareness of ChildServe and raise money for needed programs to help children with special health care needs and their families. For details please visit http://www.childserve.org/index.php/bubbleball and help support this worth while cause.
